Project on minecraft.

I've decided I wanted to start a project on minecraft. What I'm going to do is I'm going to build a huge city, using a few mods including carpenter's blocks mod and a texture pack. It's going to have cover and lots of hallways and stuff to run through and I'm going to use nerf guns (Flan's mod) to play with my bro. Everytime I build a bit, I will show you guys a picture on my blog posts.

The carpenter's blocks mod is a mod that allows lots of cool stuff. For example, when you place down a crapenter's block, you can right click it withg any block type (mostly) and you can use the chisel to make the blocks look different. The carpenter's hammer allows you to change the shapw of the carpenter's block (example: slabs, sideways slabs, etc) I will use this for the buildings.

I will also use the "MrCrayfish's Furniture" mod to add furniture to the houses and stores, etc. In this mod, there are fridges and freezers and all kinds of furniture that you can sit in and use as if it were normal everyday furniture.

Another mod I will use is the "BiblioCraft" mod to add the shelves in the stores. You will also be able to place all the trophies you will get (from winning nerf games). Players will have a home each, (custom) so they can store their stuff. I will use the shelves and other things in this mod just for that (store decoration to).

Minecraft modpack: SS Evolution: Medieval Ages! (Part 1)

P.S. You can find the rest of the instructions for the fire here. I may post more about my survival precautions in the future, but now I will change subject. This is todays post.

Today I will be talking about a new minecraft modpack that I got. It's called the "SS Evolution: Medieval ages (or times, I don't remember)" In this modpack, there are quite a few mods that I myself am familiar with. Sadly there is no morph mod. But there is the invasion mod, there was the balkon's weapons mod, there is the mine&blade battlegear bullseye mod, there is a mod that I just started experimenting with (I forget what it is called). There is the "lake construction tool" and "construction tool" that I know how to use, and trust me, they are sick! And there are a few more.

What I loooooove doing in this modpack, is I use the m&b battlegear bullseye, and the construction tools to make a huge "lake" (square shaped) about 3-6 levels high, I theen build a circle platform in the middle of it(at the surface) and build 4 bridges branching off at each side. Then I build a tower (7x7 corners removed) very high, and build my base inside it, including chests filled with gear. I take lots of stone, a few god apples, a ton of steak, armor, and weapons. I gear myself up, and then I place the nexus at the top floor (outside). Here is the set up I would use for the starting. I would use full diamond armor.

Attack of the b-team (minecraft modpack part 2)

*todays post
The tropicraft mod allows you to enter an entire new biome, which can be accessed by sitting in a chair and drinking a cocktail at sunset. I haven't explored this biome much yet but I know that you can see fish in the water. There are cocconuts on the palm trees that you use to make the cocktails. You can grow pineapples that you can cut into cubes to put in your cocktails or you can just eat them to fill half of one hunger bar. (1/20 hunger) There are all kinds of combinations that you can make in terms of cocktails.

Attack of the b-team (minecraft modpack part 1)

At first I thought this modpack was worse than what it looked like. Just the other day (a few weekends ago) I ended up trying it again, and it was fun. It has 3 specific mods that I love. The tropicraft mod, the flans' guns mod, and the morph mod.

The morph mod allows you to transform into any mob you kill. You can transform back into yourself and then you can still transform back to that mob. You have the abilities that the mob you want to become would normally have. Chickens glide, meanwhile bats can fly, and zombies and skeletons burn in the daylight.

Minecraft 'The Craft of Us' (Minecraft modpack) Part 1

The Craft of Us is a mopack about the last of us. It has all kinds of things. There are quite a few mods in this modpack, including: the last of us, too many items, flan's guns mod, the camping mod, and minecraft comes alive. It's a very fun modpack. Throughout the world you can find cordycep fungai (plant). If you break them you can get cordycep fungai (Entity). When you 1 cordycep fungai (Entity) in each corner of the crafting table with dirt in the middle of it, you get cordycep block. When you place it down on the ground it creates a white fog like carpet on the floor. I do not know what this does though. There are also blocks that are like cement, barbed wire, sand bags, and some other block that starts with h (Block similar to sand bags, that falls, and is 2-3 blocks high.

Minecraft Skins

Skins are a feature in minecraft that you can activate by ggoing to a minecraft skins website such as: http://www.minecraftskins.net . Skins are interesting and usefull because without them you can't recognize anyone without using their usernames. Yes people ccan have the same skins but it's much less common then the everyday steve or alex skin. You can make your own or download other people's skins. I am making my own and I will post it in the future on this page so you can see it. Skins can also be deactivated in the game by pressing 'esc', 'options', 'skins', and clicking 'turn skins off' (I believe that is how it is done).

Minecraft Ultimate Real Life Roleplay

This is a minecraft modpack that adds in a ton of new stuff. It ranges from diseases to making your own sandwich to decorating your house. It's a really fun modpack that I think would be a little better if it had the Terra Firma craft integrated into it though. In this modpack you have about 30 tabs of new blocks, weapons and misc items. There are planes, choppers, and others vehicles. You can Marry any player or villager on the game and have kids! You can build the city of your dreams and fill it with life unlike in any other version of minecraft other then "the sims 3 for minecraft." There are also guns and new swords and all kinds of things. I hope you have fun!

MINECRAFT CARD GAME!!! OMG!

Just yesterday my friend told me about a minecraft card game that he bought. Now as you may know I LOVE minecraft. I really want to get it. It comes with a bunch of cards including above ground resources, cave resources, mobs in caves, mobs outside, crafted item cards, and achievment cards. You seperate the caves cards from the above ground cards and put the achievment and crafting cards all in 4 piles next to one another. It's a 2 player game. When it's your turn you You can pick or discard a card. If you pick a card, you can pick from either the caves or above ground, then you can use them to craft stuff, unless it's not used to craft that item. I think it'll be a fun game!

TerraFirmaCraft (minecraft modpack) Part 2

To get metal tools, you need to get metal by picking it up from the ground. Then you put it in the vessel. They need to be cooked. To cook them you need to put them in a pit in the ground and place 8 straw. Then you place 8 log and use the "fire starter" to light it up. When it is done the piece of pottery you were cooking , will stay on the ground but will be cooked. The wheat and the logs will burn away. Then you right click to pick it up. You can then poor it in the mold to get what you want to make. To make the mold you need to use clay and make the mold you want. Then you cook it. You put your mold into the vessel with the molten liquid in it, and it will be poured into the mold. You then put it in the crafting table to take it out. Then you can craft your tool. Then you can get cobblestone and all that stuff.

TerraFirmaCraft (minecraft modpack) Part 1

TerraFirmaCraft is an awesome modpack! It make the survival worlds much more challenging, and also much more realistic. Although there are so many stats to look after, as in the different types of nutrients, and health, and days/time of the year, it's still pretty cool. To start you cannot break trees with your fists. You have to start by picking up rocks and sticks from the ground. You can find metal in the ground but you can't use it till later. You then need to right click with at least 2 rocks in your hand and you can chip of some parts. although if you screw up you can't reuse the same materials. Then you need to get food and clay. Use the knife to cut up grass to get straw. Then use the axe to get wood from trees. You put 2 sticks in the crafting box and use the "fire starter" to start a fire. You drop 3 sticks on the ground and use the "fire starter" to light up the sticks. You can make things with clay and one of them you need. It's the clay jug. You need the clay jug to take the water.

The Crafting Dead Modpack

P.S Sorry it's out so late i had a lot of homework.

Today I will be talking about the crafting dead modpack on minecraft (technic). The crafting dead is the walking dead in minecraft. to start the world on the crafting dead mode, you need to go in more world options and click on default world until it says "CD:The Cure". Then the world starts. The Zombies spawn randomly and can spawn whenever. They do not burn in the daylight and if they see or hear you they will try to kill you. You can find ruins with loot in them but the loot does not look like anything you've seen. When you right click it it drops items on the ground. They have all kinds of guns and health equipment and things that can help you survive. You can build but the zombies can break through wood or dirt. There are 6 different types of loot. 1rst there is the white loot. The white loot is the most common loot. Then the yellow. The yellow is a little less common. Then there is the blue. The blue loot is rare. Finally the green loot, which is very rare. The other 2 are red and dark green. The red is medical gear, and the dark green is military gear. There isn't much more other than the servers. in the servers, you cannot build or destroy blocks. You can only find the loot, kill other players, kill zombies, or shop/sell. It's a very fun modpack, and I would recommend it to all those people who are not scared of the "Walking Dead"

Minecraft types of mine (part 3/3)

This mine, is very efficient and you cannot die from mobs. You find a deep cave and make a base with cobblestone, 5 wide, 5 long, and 3 high. Flow water on all sides of your base except the door(s), and then go exploring. When you find multiple paths, you block all of them and add a window to each one except for the one you will go through. Go through the tunnel and mine out all the coal, diamonds, iron, lapis lazuli, gold, E.T.C. . When it is all empty make it like a hall way (a square shape) and add stairs and torches/glowstone. Then move to the next tunnel. Pick all the lava and water and store them for safe keeping. Builld a nether portal right outside your base (if you want to). Finally make an elevator or a teleporter in your base to the surface and make a cobblestone hut around it. Then it will be done.

Your base/ cave system should be built in a cave like this one!
your hut should look like this but without the sign and with a door!

Minecraft efficient mines (part 2/3)

I also know a mine that is 1x1 blocks and you can't die! You place ladders down all the way and no matter what you hold shift/f or whatever you use to 'sneak'. Every now and then you place a torch in a whole that would give light, and when you get to lava (if you do) just place a block under you. Then you dig vertically until you don't here the lava anymore. You can use any vertical mine technique that there is when it is done.

Dig down like this for a compact and efficient tunnel!

I also know a mine that is 2x1 blocks. You place ladders down all the way down on 1 side and the other you do like an other mine I showed you put torches down on the other side. Every now and then you place a torch in a whole that would give light. When you get to the bottom you create a mineshaft that is built like this. You want to break 3 blocks high 4 blocks wide and 4 blocks long. Then in the middle of every side dig 3 high and 2 wide and as long as you want. You place glowstone every 2 blocks on the floor and that is where you mine a tunnel going as far as it can. In the 4x4 zone at the center, you make your base.

(I saw a video on YouTube that helped me find this technique!
Click here to see it (it's not my video!))
This is the technique that you use for this mine!

My first talk and introduction!

Hello I'm kijilas. I'm a youtuber, well I will be, and I will talk about all kinds of things. I will talk about things like "Assassin's Creed", Starcraft, and Minecraft. I'm also making my own bord game and me and my dad are "java coding" it on the computer. But there will be times when I talk about other stuff. I will post something new every week day. But I will change the look eventually. I just want to type in my first post or else, I don't have time. The first thing I will talk about is my favorite game Minecraft.

First of all, for those of you who don't know what it is, Minecraft is a game where you live in a world made of blocks and you can build, or destroy. You can also explore, fight creatures at night, loot things in temples and huts and other things like that, create huge creations of your imagination, or just survive.

For those people out there who don't like singleplayer games but like multiplayer games, there are multiplayer servers. I would consider playing singlerplayer and training before going on them though. My favorite server is "Desteria". It is a pvp (player vs player) factions (team with a base in the wild) map sort of like Wow (World of Warcraft) and there are many different factions. You can explore, mine and get equipment, raid other bases, and attack people.

I know an other game that I find is a little like minecraft. It's called Roblox. It's a fun game where you can enter other peoples world/games. The accounts are free unless you want to be a VIP. There is also the builder's club but to get it you need about 10, what are called "robux", per week. I think that's about 50-500 dollars, but I'm not sure. Well that's about it with Roblox, but I still have more for minecraft.

In minecraft you can download 5 different types of things. The first thing is a mod. A mod is a modification to minecraft that adds other items or commands, a plugin is pretty much the same thing. The second  thing adds a texture or in other words changes the look of minecraft. It's named a texture pack. Next is a mod-pack. A mod-pack is basically a mod (or more) and a texture pack put together. the fourth thing is named a map. It speaks for itself. A map is a creation or world someone else built. And finally, editing tools. Editing tools allow you to edit the game without building in the game itself. It is another application. 1 example is "mcedit" which allows you to move around the world, change the chunks, build huge selections of blocks in under a minute (which would normally take 1-10 hours) or replace them.
